The International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) launched IFPRI’s Egypt Strategy Support Program (SSP) on March 1, 2016. The new program, funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), will produce scientific evidence and build national capacity to raise incomes of the rural poor and improve food and nutrition security in Egypt. The objective of the event was to introduce IFPRI’s new program and to strengthen partnerships with stakeholders, national policy makers, researchers, and development partners in Egypt.
