June's seminar was on: "Measuring and Monitoring SDGs in Egypt".
As the world have come to agree on new Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Egypt has volunteered and opted to be one of the first countries to report back on progress towards achieving the SDG targets in the upcoming UN High Level Political Forum in July, this seminar offered a timely informative discussion with a focus on monitoring and measurement of SDGs 1&2.
The objective of the seminar was to provide global insights on the strengths and the weaknesses of various poverty, food and nutrition security indicators. In addition the seminar brought in key stakeholders to discuss how Egypt is currently planning to monitor and measure the SDGs.
