Building on successful collaborations and lessons learned from impact evaluation projects, the Egyptian Food Bank's (EFB) Growth Lab, The International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI), and Sawiris Foundation for Social Development (SFSD) jointly launched a seminar series: “Bridging Evidence and Policy (BEP)”, covering various topics relevant to informing public policy through research and impact evaluation. The launch event “Impact Evaluation of Social Protection Programs” addressed venues through which impact evaluation informs policymaking with a focus on social protection programs in Egypt, bringing officials, researchers, implementers, and NGOs together to share major findings and options for the future.
