Overview:
The International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) and the International Water Management Research Institute (IWMI) convened a policy workshop that gathered government agencies engaged in shaping Egypt’s food, water and social protection policies.
The workshop aimed at examining the interest of the policymakers on tools and research questions related to social protection, food and water policies in Egypt, and to check on alignment on the government NWFE program. This workshop also launched CGIAR's Policy Innovation Science Program which is a continuation of the National Policies and Strategies Initiative (NPS) work in Egypt.
