Overview
The study is a cluster-randomized controlled trial (cRCT) aimed at evaluating the effectiveness and cost-efficiency of different modalities of nursery meals on preschool-age children’s diet, nutrition, health, and cognition outcomes. The trial will be conducted over one year in 60 nurseries across 4 governorates in Egypt. The governorates were selected based on the availability of eligible nurseries. To screen for eligibility, EFB prepared a list of all working CBOs in their database and screened them for whether they were operating a nursery as of January 2025. I am still working on the randomization so i don't have conclusive information about the exact governorates.
