IFPRI Egypt Seminar: Measuring and Monitoring SDGs in Egypt
In partnership with United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Egypt, this month's seminar will be on: "Measuring and Monitoring SDGs in Egypt". As the world have come to agree on new Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Egypt has volunteered and opted to be one of the first countries to report back on progress towards achieving the SDG targets in the upcoming UN High Level Political Forum in July, this seminar offers a timely informative discussion with a focus on monitoring and measurement of SDGs 1&2.
Special Event: Roadmap for Monitoring Agriculture Projects in Egypt
The Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation (MoALR) in collaboration with the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) and as part of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) funded-project called “Evaluating Impact and Building Capacity” (EIBC) is planning to build a database and toolkit for enhancing its Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) capacities. Such a toolkit will help to better keep track of all the agricultural development projects in Egypt, with the ultimate goal of improving agricultural project planning, coordination and effectiveness
