The Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation (MoALR) in collaboration with the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) and as part of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) funded-project called “Evaluating Impact and Building Capacity” (EIBC) is planning to build a database and toolkit for enhancing its Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) capacities. Such a toolkit will help to better keep track of all the agricultural development projects in Egypt, with the ultimate goal of improving agricultural project planning, coordination and effectiveness

Inaugural IFPRI Egypt Seminar Series. The new Seminar Series provides a platform for all people striving to identify and implement evidence-based policy solutions that sustainably reduce poverty and end hunger and malnutrition. The new series is part of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) funded project called “Evaluating Impact and Building Capacity” (EIBC) that is implemented by IFPRI.

The Egypt SSP Office in Cairo hosted a Research Priority Setting workshop, funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), on March 2, 2016. The workshop brought together national experts from policy, civil society, and research and IFPRI researchers with relevant international expertise.
